Today, our school embarked on a delightful journey into the enchanting world of Ruskin Bond, the celebrated author from the hills whose words have captured the hearts of readers around the world. Born amidst the serene landscapes of Mussoorie, Bond's stories are imbued with the magic of the mountains, the charm of small-town life, and the warmth of human relationships.
In our special assembly dedicated to Ruskin Bond, students, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate his literary legacy and the timeless tales that continue to inspire generations. Through his vivid storytelling and rich characters, Bond transports us to a world where every hill has a story and every tree whispers secrets of the past.
Following a captivating introduction to the life and works of Ruskin Bond, our talented class 8 students took the stage to bring one of his beloved short stories to life. In a beautifully enacted skit of 'Snake Trouble,' the audience was transported to the rustic setting of a village gripped by fear and superstition. Through humour, drama, and heartfelt performances, the students skillfully portrayed the themes of courage, resilience, and the triumph of reason over fear.
